DIAS is the Diabetes Information & Advice Service, an e-Learning site developed and maintained by Diabetes Australia-NSW.

DIAS contains a series of Learning Modules and multiple-choice Tests covering diabetes related information.

Who is DIAS for?

Any Health Professional who wishes to learn more about diabetes.

What information is on DIAS?

A series of five Learning Modules are available, covering a range of topics from product information to the basics in diabetes management:

• Module 1: Diabetes Products (Blood Glucose Meters, Insulin, Lancet Devices)
• Module 2: Healthy Eating (Glycemic Index Australian Dietary Guidelines)
• Module 3: Lifestyle (Physical Activity, Smoking, Hypoglycaemia)
• Module 4: Travel & Footcare
• Module 5: Diabetes-related Complications

Each learning module has its own Test consisting of 10 multiple-choice questions.

Further modules are in development including Medication.

How do I access the Learning Modules?

You will need to Login or Register to access the learning modules and tests available on DIAS. If you are an existing NDSS Sub-Agent you will be required to enter your Code and the postcode of your Pharmacy.
