Accessing the Learning Modules

To access the material in the Learning Modules, you will need to either Register (new users) or Login (existing users) - ensuring that you have a valid and current NDSS Sub Agent Code.

Once you have successfully logged in using your own unique DIAS Username and Password, you can then access the five Learning Modules by navigating to the individual modules listed in the "Modules" menu item. You can also undertake the relevant test for each learning module by navigating to the "Tests" menu item.

 

Viewing Test Results

To view your test results or view/update your current Address or Pharmacy, choose from the relevant options in the "My Account" menu item once you have logged in.

Opening PDF Files

The learning modules make use of Adobe Acrobat/Reader PDF files.

    To view or print these documents, you will need to download and install the Adobe Reader (or similar) from the Adobe Reader web-site.

Logging Out

Once you have finished your DIAS session, you can logout by closing the web browser window/tab, selecting the Logout menu item from the "My Account" menu item or by clicking the "Logout" link listed next to your name at the top of every page.

 

Supported Web Browsers

This web site was designed for and tested using the Mozilla Firefox 2 and Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 web browsers.

  Get Mozilla Firefox   If you have a choice, Mozilla Firefox (free; Windows/Mac/Linux) is recommended for the best DIAS experience.

 

Cookies

When you visit DIAS, you can browse and access important information without revealing your identity. In order to improve our Site, we use 'cookies' to track your visit. A cookie is a small amount of data that is transferred to your web browser by a Web server and can only be read by the server that gave it to you. It functions as your identification card, and enables Diabetes Australia-NSW to record your passwords, purchases, and preferences. It cannot be executed as code or deliver viruses.

Most browsers are initially set to accept cookies. You can set your browser to notify you when you receive a cookie, giving you the chance to decide whether to accept it. (For some Web pages that require an authorisation, cookies are not optional. Users choosing not to accept cookies will probably not be able to access those pages.)

While Diabetes Australia-NSW uses cookies to track your visit to Diabetes Australia-NSW.com, and our Web servers automatically log the IP/Internet address of your computer, Diabetes Australia-NSW does not use this information to identify you personally.
