When: 1 August 2009
Where: Sofitel Sydney Wentworth Hotel, 61-101 Phillip St Sydney
The Grand Ballroom of the Sofitel Sydney Wentworth will be transformed into “A Sea of Crystal” for the seventh annual Buzz Ball, to be held on Saturday 1 August.
The fundraiser promises to once again be a fabulous night where guests will be treated to a three-course meal and the finest beer and wine. With Australia’s premier comedy magician, Matt Hollywood providing the entertainment for the night with his impressive magic and incredible sleight of hand and Jellybean Jam keeping the dance floor alive with chart-topping hits - the stage is set for another huge success.
A number of items will be up for grabs in the Live Auction including cruises, 5 star holidays to destinations including Japan, Bali and Thailand, and a fantastic decade of Penfolds Grange.
In the Silent Auction, guests can bid on a variety of prizes including gift hampers, weekend getaways, memorabilia, artwork and adventure packages.
Diabetes Australia-NSW thanks all the generous sponsors for their commitment. Such support ensures that funds raised on the night will go directly toward our awareness, research, education and advocacy programs.
Tickets are $185 a person or $1,850 for a table of 10. To purchase your table or for more information, call Karlena James on (02) 9552 9951 or email buzzball@diabetesnsw.com.au.
